Key Responsibilities

- Service and maintain company light vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

- Carry out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.

- Complete brake, suspension, steering and engine repairs.

- Perform vehicle safety checks and roadworthy inspections.

- Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.

- Ensure tools, equipment and the workshop are kept clean and organised.

- Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.

- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Experience servicing and repairing a range of light vehicles.

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Heavy vehicle,



diesel or agricultural equipment experience is advantageous but not essential.

Essential Requirements

- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required.

Desirable

- HR or MR licence.

- Air-conditioning licence.

- Forklift licence.

- Experience with fleet maintenance and diagnostic scan tools.
