The Role

We are seeking an experienced Linehaul operations specialist for the business, responsible for our linehaul vehicles and drivers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

- Supervision of drivers including on-boarding
- Load sourcing - Tautliner and Flat Top
- Booking and coordinating loads for collection and delivery




- Liaising with the workshop regarding maintenance and repairs
- Compliance of NHVR Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue requirements
- Allocating the correct equipment to the task

The Person The person we are looking for will be well versed in linehaul operations and must have experience moving freight along the Eastern Seaboard. The skills required for this role include:

- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Sound knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements including Chain of Responsibility, Load Restraint, NHVR
- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
- Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written
- Energetic and enthusiastic attitude toward your career
- Must be a forward thinker
- Experience with Dangerous Goods would be advantageous
- Customer focused
