Complex Litigation | Senior Lawyer Support | Career Support Role The Chance:

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join a highly regarded boutique law firm in a central Gold Coast location.

Working closely with senior lawyers, you will provide high-level legal administrative support across a busy litigation practice. The work is complex, varied and suited to someone who enjoys being across the detail, managing deadlines and helping matters run smoothly.

This is a genuine long-term support role. It is not designed for a law student or someone looking for a pathway into a graduate position. The firm is looking for a career legal assistant or legal secretary who takes pride in their role, enjoys litigation and wants to become a trusted part of the team.

You will be joining a professional and well-regarded practice where your contribution will be noticed, valued and relied upon.

The Role In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to a senior litigation lawyer, including:

- Diary and email management

- Preparing, formatting and proofreading correspondence, court documents and briefs

- Assisting with court filing, matter preparation and litigation support tasks

- Managing key dates, deadlines, court dates and internal follow-up

- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts and external parties

- Coordinating meetings and conferences

- Maintaining accurate electronic files and matter records

- Handling confidential information with discretion

- Providing broader administrative support to the litigation team as required

About You:

You will be an experienced legal secretary with a background in litigation.



You will suit this role if you are:

- An experienced legal support professional

- Comfortable supporting senior lawyers in a busy practice

- Experienced with document preparation, formatting and proofreading

- Organised and confident managing diaries, deadlines and competing priorities

- Professional in your communication with clients, counsel and external parties

- Detail-focused and accurate in your work

- Calm, reliable and proactive
