About the Role

As a locum nurse, you will work across several well-established companion animal clinics within the Sydney South area. You’ll become part of a collaborative team that values high clinical standards, teamwork, and compassionate care.

This role offers flexibility with casual or part-time shifts available, making it ideal for nurses seeking work-life balance or additional variety in their week.

Clinic locations include

- Allison Crescent Vet Hospital
- Engadine Veterinary Hospital
- Bexley Veterinary Hospital
- Sylvania Veterinary Hopsital
- Kogarah Veterinary Hospital

Key Responsibilities

- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients

- Assisting veterinarians with consultations and surgical procedures

- Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery

- Hospital patient care and treatment administration

- Maintaining accurate medical records





- Supporting reception and client communication when required

- Contributing positively to team culture across multiple sites

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- An experienced veterinary nurse with strong clinical skills

- Comfortable working independently and adapting to different clinic environments

- Friendly, reliable, and highly organised

- Passionate about patient care and client experience

- Available to travel between clinics within the Sydney South region

- Experienced with anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing

- Confident using veterinary practice management software

Essential Requirements

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

- Minimum 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience preferred

- Availability for flexible weekday and occasional weekend shifts

- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
