We are looking for a School Wellbeing Practitioner / Social Worker (0.6 FTE – 3 days per week) to join our welcoming, supportive, and collaborative Griffith team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with schools to support the wellbeing of students, families, and staff in a meaningful and impactful way.

In this role, you will:

- Support children, young people, and families through counselling and wellbeing interventions
- Deliver group programs and whole-of-school wellbeing initiatives
- Work collaboratively with schools to create safe, supportive environments
- Provide consultation, education, and guidance to school staff
- Contribute to building strong, connected communities

No two days are the same, this role offers variety, purpose, and the chance to truly make an impact.

What We’re Looking For

- A passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families
- A compassionate, empathetic, and approachable style
- Qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling, or psychotherapy
- Experience in counselling young people and families
- Ability to deliverengaging group programs and psychoeducation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative approach with schools and community stakeholders
- Understanding of working with vulnerable or disadvantaged communities
- Current NSW driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

Bonus (Desirable)

- Experience working within school settings
- Understanding of whole-of-school wellbeing approaches
- Experience in case management
- Relevant professional registration (AASW, AHPRA, ACA/PACFA)
