Border Express is on the lookout for experienced and safety conscious TUG and Forklift Driverto join our growing team at our Cranbourne depot on our early AM Shift
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected national carrier, driving modern equipment, working locally, and being part of a supportive, well run team.
This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers.
Position will be predominately forklift driving but will also include TUG driving as required moving trailers around the depot and helping with loading/ unloading and moving of freight.
AM shift with full time hours
Based out of our Cranbourne depot

About the role:
AM Shift: 3.00am - 12.30am
Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading of freight in accordance with company & statutory guidelines
Moving freight around the depot, staging and collating freight as required
Moving trailers around the depot into parking and unloading bays
Operating both single and double trailer combinations
Skills and Experience:
A current MClicence with at least 2 years of experience isessential for this position
Confidence operating and reversing both single and multi combination trailers
Good reversing skills and experience working in a depot or yard environment
A current forklift licence required snd experience in a transport depot
A robust commitment to safety, compliance, and reliability
