Cairns Specialist Orthodontists is seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our friendly team on a long-term basis.
This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including:
Chairside assisting in a specialist orthodontic practice
Fabricating orthodontic appliances in our on-site laboratory
Sterilisation and infection control procedures
Perform digital teeth scanning and take patient records
The position will commence as a casual role, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment after approximately 12 months. Pay will be negotiated based on the applicable award, age, and any relevant experience.

Be available Monday to Friday,
with shifts scheduled between 7:45 am and 5:30 pm
Be available to work approximately 24–32 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as the practice grows and once training is completed
