We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established international organisation looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team.

This position offers valuable hands-on experience within a supportive environment where you'll work alongside experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to modern accounting systems and processes.

The role is initially offered as a 2-week temporary assignment, however there is a strong possibility of extension and the opportunity to become a permanent team member based on performance and potential company expansion.

What you'll be doing

As part of the Finance team, you'll assist with:

- Processing supplier invoices
- Matching purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Responding to supplier payment enquiries
- Supporting payment runs`




- Assisting with month-end activities
- Working with ERP systems and finance processes
- General accounts payable administration

We're looking for someone who

- Has recently completed (or is currently completing) a qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce OR
- Has previous accounting experience gained overseas and is looking for their first Australian opportunity
- Has strong attention to detail
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Is confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is eager to learn and develop your career
- Has unrestricted working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or an unrestricted work visa)
