Are you an experienced healthcare leader looking for an opportunity to lead a well-established aged care facility where you can make a genuine impact on residents, families, and staff?

Prospero Health & Social Care is partnering with a respected aged care provider to recruit an experienced Facility Manager for an Melbourne-based home.

This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall performance of the facility, ensuring exceptional resident care, strong team engagement, regulatory compliance, and sustainable operational outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, leading a multidisciplinary team and fostering a positive, resident-centred culture.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing strong leadership and support to clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Driving a culture focused on quality care, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Managing occupancy, budgets,



and operational performance.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development initiatives.
- Maintaining high standards across resident care, service delivery, and customer experience.

About You

- Previous leadership experience within aged care, healthcare, disability, or a related sector.
- Strong operational and people leadership skills.
- A sound understanding of quality, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience managing budgets and driving performance outcomes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and services for older people.
