What You’ll Be Doing

As a Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician, you'll work across a diverse range of service, maintenance and project activities, including:

- Service, preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

- Working on a variety of equipment including compressor racks, chillers, cool rooms, freezer rooms, package units and associated plant.

- Diagnosing and rectifying refrigeration and control system faults.

- Carrying out testing, commissioning, refrigerant handling and system performance checks.

- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure plant reliability and efficiency.

- Identifying opportunities for repairs, upgrades and system improvements.

- Maintaining accurate digital service records and communicating effectively with clients and the internal team.

- Working autonomously while upholding the highest standards of safety, workmanship and customer service.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and customer service.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC service and maintenance.

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

- Experience working with chillers, compressor racks, cool rooms, freezer rooms and associated plant.

- Ammonia refrigeration experience (desirable but not essential).

- The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

- A proactive approach to safety, problem-solving and continuous improvement.

- Positive communication, time management and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to participate in an on‑call roster and overtime as required.

Qualifications & Licences

- Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

- Current NSW Fair Trading Contractor or Supervisor Licence (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration).

- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.

- Current NSW Driver's Licence.

- White Card.

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
