Clerkship Program Overview

Our clerkship program gives students a head start in their legal career. You’ll work alongside some of the most experienced lawyers in Australia, contributing to real matters and receiving support from a partner, senior lawyer and junior lawyer. The program focuses on high‑quality technical training, a strong learning culture and developing the skills you need to thrive as a lawyer.

What You’ll Experience

- Personalised induction introducing you to our people and work
- On‑the‑job training with performance coaching, development support and mentorship from senior staff
- Learning opportunities across practice areas and partners, avoiding siloed work
- Work on real matters for some of Australia’s and the world’s top 100 companies
- Involvement in community and pro‑bono work, and exposure to committees and interest groups

including international and client secondment opportunities
- Seminars that build future‑focused skills to help you become an excellent lawyer in a changing business workplace

Eligibility and Application

Applications are open to students in their penultimate and final year of a law degree. To be considered, you must complete the application and the required online strengths‑based assessment by 5pm (AEST) on Friday, 7August2026. Address applications to Amelia Webber, Early Careers Consultant.
