About The Role:

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced Grounds Maintenance Garden Crew Member to join our expanding team. You will work on a variety of properties throughout Greater Melbourne. In this role, you will ensure that our operations meet all external regulatory requirements and internal policies, protecting the company’s integrity and reputation.

Key responsibilities: The Role

- Lawn maintenance: mowing (using zero turns & front decks), edging, brush cutting.
- General upkeep: weed control, watering, blowing paths & site clean-ups.
- Landscape improvements: mulching, planting & garden bed refreshes.
- Reporting: logging completed works via modern, easy-to-use apps
- Project support for seasonal works as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain compliance standards while being compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support WHS and safety compliance across work sites.
- Participating in toolbox talks.

What You Need to Succeed:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within property maintenance or a related industry.
- Proven garden maintenance experience (commercial or residential).
- Strong operating skills with machinery, All types of mowers, blowers & hedge trimmers.
- Experience using powered equipment and hand tools.
- Hold current police check or willing to obtain.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be willing to undertake random drug and alcohol testing in line with company WHS policies.
