About the company:

We are a small family orientated GP practice focused on providing professional and personalised care to our long-standing patients. We are GP owned and operated, offering mixed billing in an AGPAL accredited practice. We have 2 doctors and are supported by Allied Health Specialists, including a Physio and Podiatrist. We have a Pathology collection centre onsite and have an equipped treatment room, with Pharmacies and Radiology services nearby.

About the role:

We are seeking a practice nurse, who shows accuracy and attention to detail, and who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. We require someone reliable and flexible, who has the ability to work independently and with others, and who has a pleasant nature enabling them to build rapport with a diverse range of patients.

Nursing duties would include, but are not limited to:

- Immunisations (adult and childhood)
- Wound care and procedure assistance
- Iron Infusions
- Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management
- Patient health education
- Ordering and maintaining stock of consumables
- Infection Control and Cold Chain Management




- Reminders and recalls
- Assisting the Practice Manager with Quality Improvement activities and Practice Accreditation.

Hours and days are flexible, initially 4 days per week, with the option of full-time for the right candidate.

Skills and experience: The successful applicant will have:

- A great work ethic
- Compassion, patience and professionalism
- AHPRA Registration and current Insurance
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support Certificate
- Current Police Clearance and Working With Children Check
- Excellent organisation, problem solving and time management skills
- Previous experience with Medical Director/Pracsoft, highly desirable but not essential
- Minimum of 1+ years experience in General Practice preferred
