JMV Group Pty Ltd Sahib E Swad , operated by JMV Group Pty Ltd , is an authentic Indian restaurant located in Craigieburn, Victoria. Since opening its doors in late June this year, the restaurant has received an overwhelming response from the local community, resulting in strong customer demand and continued business growth. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our professional kitchen team on a full time basis.

Task & responsibilities Prepare, cook and present a wide variety of authentic North Indian dishes. Prepare and cook traditional tandoori dishes , including a range of breads, and marinated meats using a tandoor oven. Prepare a range of Indian curries , gravies and sauces while maintaining authentic flavours and consistency.
Assist with menu planning and the introduction of seasonal specials.
Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
Maintain stock levels, assist with ordering supplies and minimise food wastage. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas. Work effectively within a busy kitchen environment and support other kitchen staff as required.
Qualification & experience Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification). At least 1–2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Cook. Demonstrated experience preparing authentic Indian cuisine, with strong skills in tandoor cooking and Indian curries .
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
