A leading Sydney-based university is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join a high-performing Procurement Services team on a long-term contract through to March 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement operations, purchasing, transactional procurement, procurement support, or procurement administration experience within a large and complex organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process procurement and transactional purchasing activities accurately and efficiently
- Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding procurement processes and systems
- Manage supplier and stakeholder enquiries while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements
- Support reporting, documentation management, data integrity, and process improvement initiatives




- Assist with operational procurement activities across a high-volume environment
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain service delivery standards and compliance obligations

About You:

- Experience within procurement, purchasing, vendor management, procurement operations, or transactional services
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately
- Experience working within large, complex, or highly regulated environments
- Solid stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with procurement systems, CRMs, ERP platforms, or finance systems
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and governance requirements
- Higher education or government experience is highly regarded
