Outdoor Connection Partners
Georges River Council
Outdoor Connection Partners was founded in 2021 by two outdoor enthusiasts with a combined 50+ years of industry experience and a shared vision: to create opportunities for everyone to enjoy the great outdoors.
We live by four values that shape how we work and how we treat each other:
- Say it how it is — honesty over politeness
- Treat it as if it is yours — ownership in everything we do
- Don't screw the customer — long-term relationships beat short-term wins
- Smell the roses — enjoy the ride
Demand for one of our brands, Jobe Watersports (jobesports.com.au) is growing fast, and we're looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join our young, ambitious team. If you're passionate about delivering great customer experiences and always looking for smarter ways to do things, we want to hear from you.
You'll own the customer experience at Jobe Watersports — the trusted voice of our brand across both our direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. This is a hands-on role across three core areas:
Customer Service (DTC & B2B)
- Be the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries across both DTC and B2B channels
- Handle product questions ("what gear do I need?"), shipment tracking, warranty claims, and returns submissions
- Manage enquiries and customer pipelines in HubSpot, ensuring every conversation is logged, actioned, and resolved
- Build strong relationships with wholesale accounts and end consumers alike, representing the Jobe brand with energy and care
- Process and manage sales orders end-to-end in Cin7, from entry through to dispatch
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer data within Cin7
- Safeguard stock integrity by ensuring orders, allocations, and inventory movements are recorded correctly
- Partner with sales and finance to resolve order, pricing, or invoicing queries
- Work closely with our third-party logistics partner to drive operational excellence across pick, pack, and dispatch
- Monitor on-time dispatch performance and proactively resolve fulfilment issues
- Liaise with freight carriers on shipment tracking, delivery exceptions, and claims
- Support stock control activities including cycle counts, inbound receipts, and stock reconciliations
You're a natural communicator who thrives on solving problems and making customers feel heard. You're equally comfortable jumping on a phone call, drafting a clear email, or coordinating behind the scenes to get an order out the door. You take ownership, you ask for help when you need it, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
What you'll bring:
- Ability to process responses to customer enquiries quickly and accurately
- A proactive, collaborative, and resourceful mindset — you seek assistance when needed and share knowledge freely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong coordination skills, with experience working across sales, operations, and warehouse teams
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Experience with the Microsoft Suite, Xero, HubSpot and Cin7 (DEAR) is highly regarded
- TAFE Certificate IV in Business (Administration) or Bookkeeping & Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- Competitive base salary — $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
- Direct line to leadership — report to our young, agile GM
- Flexibility that works for you — work-from-home options and flexible hours available; we're open to shaping the right arrangement to attract the right person
- Full-time preferred (38 hours per week), but part-time will be considered
- Easy commute — close to train and bus links
