Commercial & Country Head, Australia

We are seeking a proven Commercial & Country Head, Australia for one of our international clients, a role which will see you lead the Australian operations across the LNG Energy sector.

About the Business

Our client is an International Privately Owned organisation and specialist in the Energy LNG sector on a global scale and looking to ramp up operations in Australia.

Responsibilities

- Own the commercial strategy, business development, regulatory engagement and stakeholder relationships across the portfolio
- Own P&L; accountability for the Australian operations
- Shapes how business looks in the market, build investor and partner relationships, navigate energy policy, and identifies opportunities in the LNG and Power Infrastructure.
- Oversee commercial operations: contract, offtake agreements, commercials and compliance
- Report on market trends, competitive positioning and governing risks
- Opportunity to take ownership to grow and develop a local team/operation soon

Candidate Profile

- Possess strong work history in Energy, (power generation, LNG,



Oil & Gas or adjacent infrastructure) and/or Investment banking or Top Tier consulting firms
- Significant commercial and business growth opportunities experience across complex commercial negotiations
- High level depth in Australian Energy markets and working on major complex projects
- Previous experience developing from 'green‑field' models and projects
- Ability to open up and develop new markets
