Nexmin is a Perth based, multi-discipline engineering consultancy specialising in the delivery of industry‑leading metallurgical and design solutions for mineral processing facilities.
Nexmin offer comprehensive engineering services across all major disciplines, from early-stage feasibility studies, including DFS level through to detailed design and full EPCM project delivery.

The Role
Reporting to the Projects Director you are responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects across mineral processing projects.
The role is the interface between engineering and project delivery, ensuring technical outputs are aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.
Working closely with discipline leads and project managers, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects by coordinating multidisciplinary inputs and managing deliverables.
The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
Brief Duties
- Support the delivery of projects in line with defined scope, schedule, and budget
- Track and manage engineering deliverables, ensuring timely and quality outputs
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and progress reporting
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project execution
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and change within the project
- Support procurement activities including technical evaluations and vendor engagement
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, and constructability reviews
- Provide support during construction and commissioning phases if required
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant standards
Criteria
- Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or similar)
- 5+ years’ experience in engineering or project delivery environments
- Experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry projects (preferred)
- Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Understanding of project delivery processes and lifecycle
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, and reporting tools (advantageous)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive and detail-oriented
