Role : Backend Engineer with Agentic AI implementation experience

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in either:
- Experience building enterprise-grade APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs
- Microservices
- Event-driven architecture
- Service integration patterns
- Authentication and authorisation (OAuth2, OAuth, JWT)

Data & Integration

- SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB, or Redis.
- API-first development and integration.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and SaaS platforms.
- Messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, Event Hub, or equivalent.

Agentic AI & LLM Engineering

- Experience delivering a productionised Agentic AI use case.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Tool calling and workflow orchestration
- Agent frameworks
- AI evaluation and testing
- Understanding of AI governance, security, reliability, and operational considerations.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration platforms.
- CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.).

Observability & Production Operations

- Experience implementing:
- Centralised logging
- Distributed tracing
- Metrics and monitoring
- Alerting and incident management
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Splunk
- Grafana
- OpenTelemetry
- Cloud-native monitoring solutions

Technology background is flexible—Java, .NET/C#, or similar backend platforms are all acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build and integrate RESTful services, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
- Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Integrate enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and internal services through APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Translate business processes into reliable technical solutions that improve efficiency, automation, or customer outcomes.




- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions leveraging LLMs, tools, workflows, and knowledge sources.
- Build AI-powered business services using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool calling, workflow orchestration, and enterprise knowledge integrations.
- Productionise AI solutions with appropriate governance, security, testing, observability, and resilience patterns.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and AI service deployments.
- Deploy and operate solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement monitoring, tracing, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product owners, and platform teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design, and engineering best practices.
