Our client, a privately‑owned global leader in Meat Processing, is expanding its Northern Brisbane production facility with new Full‑Time Day Shift and Night Shift Maintenance Electrician positions. The company is adding to its 4,000+ employees during this growth phase.

Compensation

- Day Shift (4 am – 4 pm): Minimum $45 per hour
- Night Shift (4 pm – 4 am): Minimum $53 per hour
- Schedule: 4 days on, 5 days off, then 5 days on, 4 days off

The Role

Supporting the Engineering and Production teams, you will provide technical plant equipment and system support during breakdowns, shutdowns and all preventive maintenance activities, ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out to meet OEM standards and specifications, and contribute ideas around continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Full Electrical trade licence




- 1+ year post‑trade maintenance technician experience in a fast‑paced industrial environment with electro‑mechanical machinery
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Sound mechanical maintenance aptitude
- Motivation for fault‑finding and diagnosis on systems and equipment
- Team player willing to slightly adjust shift times to cover teammates
- Basic PLC/SCADA, VSD, and motor control troubleshooting
