About the job

As a Maintenance Technician – Night Shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining the performance, reliability and compliance of equipment across our manufacturing site. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will be the primary mechanical support on night shift, responding to equipment issues, carrying out preventative maintenance and helping ensure uninterrupted operations within a GMP-regulated environment. Your work will directly support the production of trusted self-care products that reach millions of consumers worldwide.

Main responsibilities

Perform preventative,



corrective and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment to support secure and reliable operations.

Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues, identify root causes and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.

Act as the primary mechanical response across the site during night shift, managing maintenance priorities with a high level of independence.

Complete maintenance activities in accordance with GMP requirements, site procedures and quality standards.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is documented in a timely manner.

Work closely with production teams to identify equipment improvement opportunities and support operational performance.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety and efficiency.

About you

Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical maintenance certification.

Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, consumer healthcare or similarly regulated environment.

Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills with the ability to assess issues and implement practical solutions.

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and respond effectively to changing operational needs during night shift.





Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

Experience working within GMP environments is highly regarded.

Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions.
