Farm and play a key role in maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of our plant and equipment across our grading and warehouse operations. Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, you'll carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot faults and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help minimise downtime, maximise production efficiency and ensure our operations continue to run safely and reliably.

What You'll Do Carry out preventative maintenance across plant and equipment. Perform repairs and maintenance within the grading and warehouse areas. Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Refurbish and replace components as required. Clean machinery and associated equipment to maintain operational standards. Complete maintenance inspections, checks and documentation accurately. Monitor spare parts inventory and consignment stock levels.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Site Manager. Participate in daily, weekly and monthly production and maintenance meetings. Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment. Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance risks.
About You
You're a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter who enjoys solving problems and working in a fast-paced production environment. You take pride in delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes and understand the importance of preventative maintenance in keeping operations running efficiently. With a proactive and safety-first mindset, you're comfortable working independently while also collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime.
You communicate effectively, have strong attention to detail and are committed to continuous improvement. Whether responding to breakdowns or completing planned maintenance, you approach every task with professionalism and a positive attitude.
What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or a related discipline. Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance. Ability to interpret maintenance requirements and prioritise workloads.
Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work in wet, dusty or physically demanding environments. Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends. Commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and compliance. Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
