Honour Care (Shiny Care Pty Ltd) is a registered NDIS provider, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to our clients. We are currently seeking a male Support Worker (participant preference) to assist a male client who has MS (Multiple Sclerosis) living in Nambour, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care assistance as required, including support with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living while maintaining the participant's dignity and choice.
- Safely transport the participant to and from planned community activities (e.g. Men's Shed, movies, shopping, cafes, parks, medical appointments, and other social outings).
- Provide light domestic assistance, including tidying, washing dishes, folding laundry, and basic meal preparation.
- Follow the participant's care notes, support plan, and risk management strategies in accordance with NDIS requirements.
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and person-centred encouragement.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times and comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct, organisational policies, and duty of care requirements.

About You

- Male Support Worker (requested by the participant).




- Experience supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or other physical disabilities is highly desirable.
- Holds a current and valid Australian driver's licence.
- Owns a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle and is willing to transport the participant to appointments and community activities.
- Comfortable assisting with personal care, community access, and light household tasks.
- Able to follow structured routines and support plans while promoting the participant's independence.
- Holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).
- Holds a current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a person-centred approach to support.
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
