Management Accountant & Payroll Supervisor

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance team based at our Process Solutions facility in Balcatta. This is an initial 15-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover, with the potential for extension.

This senior finance role will play a key part in supporting financial reporting, compliance, project accounting, payroll oversight, budgeting, and business performance across the organisation.

Responsibilities

- Prepare the month‐end management accounts for multiple local and overseas entities
- Prepare project accounting and margin reporting analysis and commentary
- Work closely with business partners to provide robust commentary to support board reporting
- Perform compliance duties such as taxation lodgements and regulatory returns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly BAS/VAT returns for the Group




- Perform annual audit related duties and assist with the preparation and lodgement of international financial statements
- Supervise the Group Payroll function, including the Payroll Specialist
- Manage the Group payroll for Australian and oversees based employees (~300 employees globall)
- Oversee transactional processing as performed by the finance administration team
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts and provide variance analysis
- Review weekly accounts payable against cash forecasting and aging

Qualifications

- Possess post graduate qualifications such as CPA/CA
- Self‑motivated and driven to meet deadlines and resolve issues independently.
- Possess solid accounting skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess strong organizational and priority management skills.
- System savvy and capable user of Microsoft products.
