Remuneration: $110,000 - $140,000 + super

Working directly with the Partners, you'll have the opportunity to shape client strategy, develop future leaders and build your own pathway toward Director or Partner level.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Partners, you'll play a key leadership role across the firm's Business Advisory and Tax practice. A strong mix of clients across small and medium-sized businesses, family businesses, professionals, listed and unlisted companies and not-for-profit organisations.

Managing your own portfolio of sophisticated private clients, you'll become a trusted adviser to business owners, family groups and high-net-worth individuals, providing practical commercial and taxation advice that helps clients achieve their long-term objectives.

You'll lead the delivery of complex accounting and taxation engagements, mentor and develop one of the two teams in Business Services and Advisory and contribute to the continued growth of the practice through exceptional client service and identifying new opportunities within your client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of private business and family group clients
- Provide strategic accounting, taxation and business advisory services
- Review complex financial statements, income tax returns and advisory engagements
- Develop trusted relationships with business owners and key stakeholders
- Identify commercial opportunities and deliver practical solutions that add value for clients
- Mentor, coach and develop junior team members
- Manage client engagements, budgets and delivery timeframes
- Work closely with the Partners on business development initiatives and practice growth
- Maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and risk management
- Contribute to the ongoing development of systems, processes and the firm's technical capability

About You To be successful in this role, you'll likely bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- Significant experience within Business Advisory and Tax, ideally gained in a Chartered Accounting environment, and ideally are Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager level in public practice.
- Strong technical expertise across private companies, trusts, family groups and taxation
- Experience managing a portfolio of business clients and acting as their trusted adviser




- Excellent leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing accountants
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities that add value for clients
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for helping clients grow their businesses
- The ambition to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of a boutique advisory firm
