The Manager, Research and Knowledge Mobilisation leads the end-to-end management of research projects and the translation and mobilisation of research findings to support victims, survivors, policymakers, advocates and practitioners. The role ensures research outputs are inclusive, culturally safe and accessible, contributing directly to the National Centre’s mission to prevent child sexual abuse and improve support systems and recovery pathways.
Who you are (selection criteria)
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in research, social sciences, public health or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- You have proven experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder research projects end‑to‑end, delivering on time, within scope and to budget.
- You possess demonstrated expertise in knowledge mobilisation and translation, synthesising and communicating complex research findings into clear, accessible, action‑oriented outputs.
- You have experience designing and implementing knowledge‑sharing strategies,
including research summaries, briefs, toolkits and digital resources tailored to diverse audiences.
- You are skilled in embedding trauma‑informed, victim‑and‑survivor‑centred and culturally protected practices across research design and delivery.
- You have strong knowledge of ethical research frameworks and lived experience engagement principles, ensuring all projects uphold these standards.
- You demonstrate excellent stakeholder and partnership management skills, fostering collaborative relationships across research teams and community partners.
- You bring leadership experience and are able to provide guidance and support to a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
- You are aligned with the National Centre’s mission to disrupt child sexual abuse and bring about systemic change.
