Manual Machinists | Bibra Lake | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Manual Machinists to commence immediately at a well-established engineering workshop located in Bibra Lake.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent hours, regular overtime and the prospect to secure permanent employment for the right candidates. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision machining, takes pride in producing quality work and thrives in a busy workshop environment.

Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 6:00am – 10:00am

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate manual lathes to manufacture components to specification
- Perform general machining using mills, drills and other workshop equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Measure, inspect and verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Assist with repair, maintenance and light fabrication work as required
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment





About You:

Essential

- Proven experience operating manual lathes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Commitment to safe work practices

Desirable

- Forklift Licence
- Overhead crane experience
