Do you love bringing people together, coordinating meaningful projects and making a genuine difference for the environment?

Watershed Landcare is seeking a passionate and organisedLocal Landcare Coordinatorto join our team on a part-time maternity leave contract.

This is an incredibly varied role where you'll work alongside landholders, volunteers, Aboriginal communities, schools, government agencies and environmental organisations to deliver projects that improve landscapes, strengthen communities and inspire environmental stewardship.

No two weeks are the same. One day you might be coordinating a community planting day, the next writing a newsletter, supporting volunteers, planning a workshop, meeting with project partners or helping deliver on-ground conservation projects.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is passionate about healthy landscapes, thriving communities and creating positive environmental outcomes.
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
- Is a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Can work independently, take initiative and adapt as priorities change.
- Enjoys organising events, collaborating with others and bringing ideas to life.
- Has strong written communication skills and is comfortable creating newsletters, social media content and project communications.

You'll enjoy a high degree of autonomy and versatile work-from-home arrangements,



while being supported by an experienced committee through comprehensive onboarding and ongoing guidance.

As Local Landcare Coordinator you'll:

- Coordinate environmental and community projects from planning through to completion.
- Plan and deliver workshops, field days, planting events and community activities.
- Lead organisational communications, including newsletters, social media, graphics and website updates.
- Build strong relationships with landholders, volunteers, Aboriginal partners, community groups and funding bodies.
- Respond to enquiries and provide support to members, landholders and project partners.
- Manage project administration, reporting, budgets and digital record keeping.
- Represent Watershed Landcare at local and regional meetings, events and networking opportunities.

Initially, the successful applicant will play a key role in delivering several exciting projects, including:

- Together for the Cudgegong– Aboriginal Partnerships Project
- Innovative Community Pig Control Program– Pests & Preparedness Project
- Glen Davis Reserve– Planting activities and Yarning Circle development
