Fastlane Towing & Transport is a family-run, Ballarat-based local & interstate transport company. We move vehicles, machinery, trailers and salvage daily across regional Victoria and the Regonal Victoria, QLD–NSW–VIC–SA- NT running multiple semi-trailers tilt trays — With 100+ five-star Google reviews, our reputation is built on communication and reliability. We’re growing, and we need someone sharp to run the engine room.

The role

You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving off the road while our trucks are on it. Day to day, you will:

- Keep customers updated on every job, booking confirmations, ETAs, delivery updates
- Prepare and turn around quotes same-day using our pricing system
- Schedule fleet maintenance, servicing across trucks and trailers
- Process driver paperwork from interstate runs and keep compliance records tight
- Coordinate with drivers, customers and suppliers so nothing falls through the cracks
- Support the Managing Director across bookings, admin and day-to-day operations

Who we’re looking for





- Strong customer service skills — you keep people informed before they have to chase you
- Genuine organisational ability — you can juggle competing priorities without dropping any
- Confidence with computers — email, spreadsheets, and picking up our in-house booking and job management systems
- Skilled with AI — you already use tools like Claude or ChatGPT to work faster (drafting, summarising, problem-solving) and you’re keen to work in a business that runs AI-powered workflows, not just talks about them
- A straight communicator — clear on the phone, professional in writing
- Reliability and ownership — you see a job through end-to-end

Transport, logistics, automotive or trades-adjacent admin experience is a bonus.
