Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform for global businesses. This role is part of the Risk Platform team, focused on building Anti‑Fraud capabilities to protect customers from payment fraud. The product manager will develop and launch fraud prevention products and services at global scale, working closely with engineering, data science, legal, compliance, and business teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead the strategy and roadmap for our payment fraud products.
- Collaborate with commercial strategy teams to enhance customer‑facing fraud management offerings.
- Oversee the product lifecycle of fraud prevention tools for risk analytics, operations, and customers.
- Partner with the risk analytics team to design, implement, and monitor fraud detection and prevention solutions.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—engineering, data science, legal, compliance—to deliver market‑leading products aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Airwallex’s Fraud Analysts team, proactively monitor fraud metrics, identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to improve strategies and tooling.

Qualifications





- 7 to 15 years of overall skilled experience.
- 5+ years in Payments Fraud or Payments Risk Management.
- Experience in product management, go‑to‑market propositions, product design, planning, and development.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

- Demonstrated high academic achievements (Bachelor’s or higher) in a STEM field.
- Experience in Fintech or other domains with high conceptual complexity.
