About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Semi Truck Driver responsible for transporting a range of recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites, transfer stations and recycling facilities.
Working Monday to Friday (with occasional overtime available), you'll become an important part of a close-knit team that values reliability, professionalism and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a semi-trailer combination across Geelong and surrounding regions.
- Transport recyclable materials and waste products between customer sites and recycling facilities.
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Ensure loads are safely secured and compliant with transport regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks and compliance records.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the operations team.
- Follow all company safety procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Assist with general yard duties when required.
What We're Looking For
- Current MC Licence with previous semi-trailer driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian road transport regulations and CoR requirements.
- Excellent driving history and commitment to safe work practices.
- Experience operating truck and trailer combinations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
- Experience within the recycling, waste, transport or logistics industries would be highly regarded.
