An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to become an integral team member in our family-based organisation.

THE ROLE
This is a permanent part-time position within our administration team. As this is a shared role, the ability to work collaboratively while managing your own responsibilities is essential.
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the continuous improvement of our business processes. This varied role combines accounts administration, office coordination, and general administrative support within a busy and growing business.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Data entry requirements into MYOB and project management software, including invoices, purchasing, bank reconciliations and job tracking.
- Prepare project job cost summaries and expense breakdowns.
- Assist with company reporting requirements
- Support Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) administration and compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier,
client and project records and documentation
- Liaise professionally with employees, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, filing, archiving and other office & kitchen duties.
- Undertake other administrative duties as directed by senior management and directors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in office administration and accounts
- Proficient in MYOB AccountRight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a sound working knowledge with financial systems, Microsoft Office Suites, in particular Word and Excel, internet and email applications
- Experience within the building, construction, or electrical industry will be highly regarded

WORKING HOURS
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexibility with days and hours may be available for the right candidate.
