Be part of a well established and supportive Finance team, where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of Accounts Payable operations across multiple projects and entities. About the Role

As our Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices, payment runs, reconciliations and stakeholder enquiries. You'll also act as a key support resource for complex Accounts Payable matters while helping maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Process supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, credit notes and employee reimbursements.
- Manage supplier payment runs and ensure payment deadlines are met.
- Review invoice coding, GST compliance and supporting documentation.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, payment queries and supplier enquiries.
- Support subcontractor administration, progress claims, retentions and bank guarantees.
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations and month-end Accounts Payable activities.
- Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with audits, process improvements and financial control activities.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Minimum 3 years' Accounts Payable experience within an Australian business.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices and Accounts Payable transactions.
- Strong understanding of GST and Australian tax invoice requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,



including lookups, pivots and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (highly regarded).
- Experience with WIISE, Xero or similar ERP systems (highly regarded).
- Construction, building or project-based industry experience (highly regarded).
- Knowledge of subcontractor claims, progress claims, retentions and contractual payment requirements (highly regarded).
