PRIMARYOBJECTIVE

The Supply ChainAnalyst– Planning & Scheduling supports the Planning team to balance poultry demand and supply, buildaccuratedaily and weekly production plans, and help ensure customer orders are met in full and on time in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Working closely with senior planners, production, sales andlogistics, the role focuses on analysing data,maintainingplanning tools, and supporting supply and scheduling activities forHazeldenes’ fresh and frozen poultry products. The position is designed as an entry pathway for a recent graduate to develop capability in supply chain, demand and supply planning, and production scheduling in the chicken processing industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning & Scheduling Support

- Assistwith preparation of daily and weekly production and scheduling plans in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS), customer orders, poultryavailabilityand plant capacity.
- Update and maintainplanning spreadsheets and systems withaccuratedata (demand forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, live bird intake, yields and orders).
- Support the translation of demand forecasts into supply and production plans for primary and secondary processing.
- Help monitoralignment between forecast, production,inventoryand customer requirements, escalating potential gaps early.





Data Analysis & Reporting

- Work with large data sets to extract, clean and analyse information from planning tools and business systems (e.g. ERP, production reports, sales data).
- Build and maintainExcel reports, pivottablesand basic charts to support daily supply and production planning decisions.
- Track and report key indicators such as forecast accuracy, service levels, stock levels, waste, and schedule adherence.
- Identifytrends,variancesand potential issues (e.g. forecast vs production vs inventory) and highlight these to senior planners.

Supply Chain Coordination

- Work closely with production, farming/live bird supply, sales,logistics,warehousingand procurement teams to understand constraints and communicate planning outcomes.
- Support daily and weekly planning meetings by preparing data, updating trackersand summarising key actions.
- Assistwith scenario analysis (e.g. demand changes, bird shortages, downtime, customer changes) and document recommended planning responses.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workinstructionsand templates for planning activities.
- Contribute ideas to improve planning processes, tools and reporting to increase accuracy, efficiencyand visibility along the supply chain.
- Support small improvement projects related to demand planning, production scheduling, inventory managementand information flow.

Food Safety, Quality & Safety

- Follow allHazeldenes’ policies and procedures related to food safety, quality, HACCP, animalwelfareand regulatory requirements within a poultry processing environment.
- Comply withworkplace health and safety (WHS)



procedures, including safe systems of work and correct use of PPE.
- Immediately report hazards, near misses and non-conformances to the relevant leader.
- Activelyparticipatein on-the-job learning, coaching and any formal development activities agreed with the Planning Leadershipand HR.
- Seek feedback and demonstrateongoing learning and improvement in technical,analyticaland interpersonal skills.

Technical & Analytical Skills

- Solid analytical mindset and confidence working with large data sets.
- Solid Excel skills, including formulas, filters, pivot tablesand basic charts to support planning and scheduling activities.
- Basic knowledge of power Query ,power PIVOT & power BI- able to run large data sets & createstory .
- Ability to quickly understand and follow planning processes such as MPS, daily production schedules, and poultry demand & supply planning.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts — demand, supply, production, scheduling, inventory.
