About theRole

Our PGY2 positions are accredited and meet the Australian Medical Council (AMC) National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training (NFPMT) which was introduced in 2024 to bring Victoria in line with the rest of the states.Monash’sgeneralist PGY2program enablessuccessful candidates to completefour,13-week rotations across:

- Undifferentiated illness care(ClinicalExperienceA)
- Chronic illness management(ClinicalExperienceB)
- Acute and critical care(ClinicalExperienceC)
- Service/Reliefterm (≤25% of the year)
- Participation in after-hours, weekend, and on-call rosters
- A supportive environment focused on education, supervision, and career development

About You:

- You must havesuccessfullycompleted your PGY1 (Internship)




- You must be eligible for GeneralRegistration with AHPRA or the Medical Council of New Zealand by the start of the 2027clinical year
- You must have completed yourprimary MedicalQualification(MBBS or equivalent) at an Australian,New Zealandor AMC accredited University (inclusive ofMonash Malaysia)
- You must apply to the PGY2PMCV Match andrank MonashHealth#1
- Supporting References are to besubmittedto the PMCV Portal
- Note: if you do not meet the above eligibility criteria, please apply forother suitableHospitalMedicalOfficerpositions.

Mandatory requirements of the role:

- Current Drivers Licence
