Just Cuts Just Cuts Kraingal is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic hairdresser to become an integral part of our vibrant team. Situated in a bustling suburban salon, we pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and enjoyable work workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to determine their hair care needs, preferences, and suitable hairstyles.
- Analyse clients' hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate cutting, styling, and hair care solutions.
- Cut, trim, layer, taper, and shape hair using professional hairdressing techniques and equipment.
- Shampoo, condition, dry, and style hair using a variety of tools and styling methods.
- Perform blow-drying, straightening, curling, and finishing techniques to achieve desired hairstyles.
- Provide men's, women's, and children's haircuts while maintaining consistency with salon quality standards.
- Recommend suitable professional hair care products and advise clients on ongoing hair maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised workstation in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Sterilise and maintain hairdressing tools and equipment in compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Build positive relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional manner.
- Assist in managing appointment flow, customer enquiries, and daily salon operations where required.
- Work collaboratively with fellow stylists to ensure efficient service delivery during busy trading periods.
- Keep up to date with current haircutting trends, styling techniques, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with the operational standards and customer service expectations of the salon.





Essential Requirements

- Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- At least one year of relevant full-time post-qualification experience , or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience where permitted.
- Demonstrated proficiency in modern haircutting and styling techniques for clients of all ages.
- Strong consultation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and salon hygiene practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented.
