About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality support to participants in their homes and within the community. Every day is different, and your role will focus on promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing personal care assistance where required
- Supporting participants with daily living activities
- Assisting with community access and social engagement
- Transporting participants to appointments and activities




- Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals
- Administering medication in accordance with policies and procedures (where appropriately trained)
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes
- Building positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Experience in disability, community, aged care, or support services highly regarded
