Marketing Manager
Location: Hazelmere WA Employment: Part-Time (2–3 Days/Week)
Weld East Fabricators is a leading steel fabrication company with workshops in Hazelmere and Bellevue, WA, specialising in high-quality fabrication solutions across a range of industries. As a family business of 60 employees, we've built our reputation on strong relationships, collaboration and a genuine commitment to our people.
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our agile team in leading our marketing strategy and driving brand growth across WA and beyond. Reporting to our General Manager, you'll work closely with our Management Team to shape how we grow.
About the Role
We're looking for a driven, detail-focused Marketing Manager to join Weld East Fabricators on a part-time basis (2–3 days/week). We value hard work, flexibility and craftsmanship in everything we do — and we're after someone who brings that same pride and precision to how they market our business.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute our marketing plan (product, price, place, promotion), backed by market research
- Maintain and grow our website, keeping product listings, pricing and stock accurate
- Own brand positioning and messaging across all channels, including content creation
- Plan and run campaigns across digital, print, trade shows and events, and manage our social media presence
- Support the sales team with marketing materials and lead generation, and manage our CRM — qualifying leads and reporting on pipeline
- Analyse market trends and the competitive landscape, and report regularly to the executive team
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure strong ROI on activities
- Develop tender and capability material — case studies, project profiles, photo/video library — for client submissions
- Act as our IT/software liaison and identify tools to boost marketing effectiveness
- Ensure marketing activities and materials meet WHS, consumer law and confidentiality requirements
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- 5+ years in a marketing role, with a proven track record in B2B marketing; manufacturing/fabrication industry experience preferred
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing)
- Proficiency with CRM systems and website/social analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience marketing to the mining, resources or heavy industrial sector in WA is highly regarded
- Proactive and data-driven mindset, skilled in project management, and confident in evaluating creative ideas and media plans.
Other requirements:
- Current driver's licence and availability for occasional travel between workshops, client sites and events
- 100 points of ID, evidence of qualifications, satisfactory pre-employment medical check, and a Federal Police Clearance
