ETA is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for an exciting prospect that starts in Brisbane before transitioning to a project in NSW.
This role offers an immediate start for candidates looking for an initial short term workshop opportunity working up to 12 hour days then transitioning into a long-term site based project!
The Opportunity
You'll commence with approximately 21 days in our Brisbane workshop, working on the maintenance and refurbishment of heat exchangers before transitioning to a Bus-In Bus-Out (BIBO) OR Drive in Drive out (DIDO) roster for a major project in NSW.
Roster
- Initial 21 days in the Brisbane workshop
- Transition to a 2:1 or 3:1 BIBO roster to the NSW project
- 12-hour shifts
- Day and potential night shifts
- $120 PER DAY LAHA
- $58 PENALTIES
- Saturday work as required
- Immediate start - Monday, 10 August
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Previous experience in oil & gas, shutdowns, heavy industrial,
mining or similar environments (highly regarded)
- Current Construction Safety Essentials (CSE)
- Current Working at Heights (WAH)
- Current Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to travel and work away on a rostered basis
