PGC Resources is seeking an experienced Mechanical / Shutdown Supervisor to lead maintenance crews across multiple mine sites throughout Western Australia.

This is a unique hybrid role, with the majority of work currently being site-based across shutdowns. When shutdowns are not scheduled, you'll be based at our Jandakot office and workshop, assisting with planning, reporting and operational support.

This position offers long-term security, with 171 hours guaranteed each month regardless of hours worked, plus the opportunity to work additional hours when available. After 1,000 hours, successful candidates will be offered a permanent position with a base salary of $140,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise screen media employees and subcontractors during shutdown and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with client maintenance teams to plan and execute maintenance works based on equipment inspections and operational requirements.
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance and replacement of vibrating screen media.
- Travel to customer sites throughout Western Australia as required.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation following maintenance activities.
- Lead by example, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site procedures.

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Proven experience as a Mechanical or Shutdown Supervisor within the mining industry.
- Experience leading maintenance crews during shutdowns.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- White Card.
- Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications.
- Section 26 (S26) certification (assessment and exam completed) - mandatory.
- Flexibility to work both FIFO and locally as required.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and client satisfaction.
