Junior Pipelayers and Pipelayers Urban Development

JAYDO Construction is a Victorian civil engineering company that provides contracting & construction services to the water, sewer & drainage industries over the last 50 years.

About the role

Due to our continued growth, we have opportunities for Plumbers, Skilled Labourers looking to pursue Pipelaying in Urban Development Drainage teams on projects in Melbourne's North Western Regions. Thisposition isopen to candidates that are either already established or those looking to take the next step. Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience in either sewer/drainage construction or a similar field to be considered for this role.

Our skilled team of pipelayers are an integral part of our business. Working in a crew the ideal person we are looking for will have an understanding and experience in the dig lay and backfill process in an urban development setting.

Pipelayers at Jaydo will possess skill and experience with the following:

- Pipe Laying
- Reading of Plans
- Basic Survey
- Excavator/Loader Operation
- Ensuring that safe systems of pipelaying are understood and adhered to.

As this is an entry level position,

Skills and experience

Our ideal candidates will already have some of the following:

- Experience as a Pipelayer / Drainer
- Construction Industry Induction Card
- Ticketed in excavator & loader
- Safe on Site and familiar with good OH&S; practice
