About the Role
Immediate start!! We're very busy at the moment and needs some help!
We cut RHS, UBs and other structural steel to size and weld on laser cut plates. We also fabricate open web trusses.
We're looking for a reliable MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team on a casual basis, with the potential for more regular ongoing work, and potentially a full time role for the right person.
Overtime is available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reading and working from fabrication drawings and cutting lists
- Cutting and MIG welding RHS, UBs, and other structural steel
- General workshop duties including material handling, housekeeping, and maintaining a protected work area
- Working safely and following our WHS procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Solid MIG welding experience, trade qualification highly regarded but not essential if you can demonstrate the skills
- Able to accurately read fabrication drawings and cutting lists
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality welds
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling of steel
- We're happy to consider welders/fabricators with less experience who are keen, safety-conscious, and willing to learn - training and guidance will be provided.

Mon-Fri morning shift (you can start as early as 5:30am) with overtime available
