What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Ceduna MPS Kitchen Hand Casual Pool, you'll play a reliable, hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day running of the hospital kitchen. Your work directly supports patient care - and that matters here.

- Preparing, portioning, and delivering meals to patients and residents in line with dietary and food safety requirements
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to maintain a safe, compliant food service environment
- Supporting kitchen staff with stock handling, dishwashing, and general food preparation tasks
- Following SA Health food safety protocols and contributing to a well‑organised, respectful team workplace

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment
- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently across varied shift times, including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a physically active role
- Respectful communication skills, particularly when working in and around patient care areas
