CONCRETE CRUSHING & RECYCLING PLANT OPERATOR

About the role
Our client, based in the EASTERN, Suburbs, are industry leaders in the field of recycling products and currently require a competent Concrete crushing and recycling Plant Operator to join their team. The role will involve the operation of various Plant Machinery, this is a Monday to Friday AFTERNOON shift position with occasional overtime/weekend work expected.

Duties

- Operate the crusher, screens, conveyors and associated feed and stockpile equipment, managing stockpiles,
- Coordinate loader and excavator operators to maintain consistent feed to the crusher and manage stockpiles.

- Identify and sort incoming material (concrete, asphalt, brick, steel reinforcement) and manage contamination removal.
- Start up, shut down, and carry out routine operational checks on plant and mobile equipment.
- Conduct daily pre-start and operational inspections of plant, conveyors, and mobile equipment.




- Front end loader WA 500 Komatsu (tickets essential)
- Bobcat, Excavator,(tickets essential)
- Previous experience working in recycling yard or sand / quarry experience advantageous
- Loading/unloading trucks and Trailor
- Available Immediately

Experience required:

- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a Recycling / Quarry / Mobile crushing environment
- Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and associated plant, with solid fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
- Operating mobile plant, including loaders, excavators and water carts (relevant tickets required)
- Solid communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
