Kelm Hire is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Internal Sales Representative to join our growing team. Based in Cheltenham, VIC 3192, this is a full-time position that offers an exciting chance to make a real impact within our sales and account management operations. You will be at the heart of our customer relationships, supporting both new and existing clients whilst working closely with our external sales team and management. This role is crucial to our business success, enabling us to maintain strong customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth through excellent service delivery and relationship management.

What you'll be doing

Processing orders and quotes with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all documentation is complete and correctly filed

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

Liaising between customers and delivery/logistics teams to ensure timely and satisfactory order fulfilment

Maintaining accurate customer records and account information within our CRM system

Providing product and service information to customers, answering questions and resolving enquiries in a professional and friendly manner

Supporting the external sales team with administrative tasks, follow-ups and documentation

Identifying customer issues and escalating concerns appropriately to management or relevant departments

Contributing to monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective account management and customer retention initiatives

Following up dormant accounts and establishing strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an internal or customer-facing sales role, ideally within account and relationship management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers and colleagues





Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple enquiries and priorities simultaneously

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A customer-first mindset with genuine enthusiasm for providing outstanding service

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing

Telephone confidence and a professional manner when communicating with clients

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints with tact and professionalism

Relevant sales qualification or certification (preferred but not essential)
