Our well-established, doctor-owned General Practice on Brisbane's inner northside is seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team. If you're currently working in a larger corporate medical practice and have been considering a move to a smaller, privately owned practice where teamwork, respect and patient care are valued, we'd love to hear from you.
Position
- Casual position – approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Saturday mornings approximately 1 in 3/4, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Additional hours may be available to cover annual and personal leave
About You
You will:
- Be highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Be able to multitask in a busy, quick-paced environment
- Have outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Be professional, caring and well presented
- Enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team
- Have a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful workplace culture
Previous experience using MedicalDirector, Pracsoft or similar medical practice software is highly regarded.
Training will be provided to the right applicant if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Booking appointments accurately using electronic scheduling software
- Processing patient accounts, invoicing and receipting
- Maintaining accurate and confidential electronic patient records
- Providing a high standard of general administrative support
