Hills Family General Practice is seeking a proactive and committed Receptionist to join our supportive team on a casual basis. We are dedicated to delivering patient-centred care and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. This role is open to candidates new to medical reception who are eager to learn, participate in onsite training, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Uphold RACGP Accreditation Standards in all administrative practices
- Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including answering telephones, scanning documents, and handling emails
- Provide administrative support to management and clinical staff
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions
- Prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently in a dynamic setting
- Perform reception duties using Tyro and Best Practice (BP) medical software

Essential Criteria:

- CPR certification,



or willingness to complete within 3 months of employment
- Compliance with current NSW Health immunisation requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced typing, and document scanning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail

Desirable Criteria:

- Experience in medical reception or a customer service role
- Familiarity with Best Practice/PenCat data systems
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth
