This is not a routine laboratory role. Working in a regional 24/7 pathology laboratory requires scientists who are resilient, adaptable and willing to accept responsibility. Territory Pathology has an ongoing full time position for a suitably qualified and experienced Laboratory Scientist (Professional 2) in the Alice Springs Hospital (ASH) laboratory. The position responsibilities include acting as the second in charge to the Supervising Scientist in the Medical Microbiology Department.

Alice Springs provides on-site testing in Chemical Pathology, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Microbiology, Serology and Molecular Biology. This position is an excellent opportunity to further your career in a NATA accredited multi-discipline laboratory. Appointment will be based upon the applicant’s technical skills, knowledge and work experience.
