Microsoft Dynamics 365 Support Engineer

SonicHR is recruiting a Microsoft Business Applications Engineer to join a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering ongoing support and technical expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple customer environments, resolving technical issues, implementing enhancements, and helping organisations get the most from their Microsoft Business Applications.

About the Role

As part of the Managed Services team, you'll provide technical support, maintenance and ongoing improvement for customers using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform. You'll work with a variety of clients, troubleshooting issues, delivering enhancements, assisting with upgrades, and supporting the adoption of Microsoft's latest technologies, including Copilot. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Implement system enhancements, configuration changes and feature improvements.
- Assist with upgrades, deployments and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Develop integrations and custom solutions where required.
- Support customers adopting Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled technologies.
- Create and execute testing activities to validate changes and enhancements.
- Investigate defects, recommend improvements and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver reliable managed services.

About You





You'll be a technically capable professional who enjoys solving problems, working directly with customers and delivering quality outcomes. Ideally, you'll have experience with:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Object-oriented software development.
- Cloud-based enterprise environments.
- Integration technologies such as REST APIs, OData or similar.
- JavaScript and modern web technologies.
- Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled Microsoft solutions.
- Producing clear technical documentation.
- Working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset and a proactive approach are essential.

Requirements

- Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Australian Citizenship is essential as the successful candidate will be required to obtain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance.
