Position Type: Full Time A unique prospect for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the team on a large-scale mixed cropping and livestock property in the Central West region of NSW. If you are interested in all things cropping, cattle and sheep then this could be the perfect role for you!
What will you be doing:
- Operating machinery and assisting with all aspects of the grain cropping program – ground prep, planting, spraying, spreading & harvest
- Be involved in all aspects of cattle and sheep handling and husbandry – mustering, drafting & yard work
- Contribute with overall property maintenance such as fencing and welding
- Assist with regular maintenance and servicing of vehicles, machinery and infrastructure
What do you need:
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Be fit and able bodied
- Welding ability and mechanical skills will be highly regarded
- Previous cropping or livestock experience will be looked upon favourably
What’s in it for you:
Fully Furnished (all you need is linen) 2 bedroom cottage available for rent at $100/wk with utilities paid in a small country town just 10km’s from the farm. Cottage is securely fenced with pets allowed. Plenty of nearby townships for a partner to secure work and cottage is within walking distance of a primary school if required. A work vehicle may be available for work use but this will be negotiated.
